These works are our expression of the spirit tree concept, that we are all connected, we exist as parts of a whole and are all affected by the forces surrounding us.
Our works are based on organic life forms referencing insect & plant life, the small things in life that are so much a part of our world yet so easily overlooked.
We wanted our works to invoke a sense of wonder and curiosity, as a child views a butterfly or a spider web laden with dew, to see them not for their materials or as an object but something that has come to life on its own.
Through this exhibition we have brought our skills and ideas together in a way very different to how we create individually, a balance point of hard edges and soft curves, decorative yet dangerous and something more alive than anything we have created before.
